Focus Enhancements FS-100 Firestore

Focus Enhancements FS100 Firestore is a great alternative to P2 cards when you shoot with a Panasonic P2 format camera. The FS-100 is an option when you are using the Panasonic HPX3000G, HPX300, HPX 2700 and 3700 Varicams, HVX200, and also the HPX170 camera.

The Focus FS-100 is lightweight (under a pound) and small making it easy to incorporate into your production system. It features DTE recording technology which means Direct to Edit. All you need to do is drag-n-drop into Final Cut and start editing. The Focus FS-100 uses one single FireWire cable allowing you to record audio, video, timecode, and other control information directly to the internal hard disk. To guarantee you never lose footage there is a 6-10 second electronic shock cache that acts like a pre-record feature. Other more advanced features include retro disk recording, scene marking, time lapse, and categorizing clips. Once you finish recording on the FS-100 your footage is ready to edit instantly- there is no need to capture, transfer files, or convert files.
